Got this very little blue Dragonfly at the pond in our garden.

very beautiful damselfly and excellent macro. they are not easy to capture, not like dragonflies Family: Coenagrionidae, Narrow-Winged Damselflies view all from this family Description The Boreal Bluet is a member of the narrow-winged damselfly family (family Coenagrionidae). Most North American damselflies belong to this family. These small insects, 1-2" (25-50 mm) long, are brightly colored with usually clear wings, which they hold together vertically over their bodies when at rest. Unlike broad-winged damselflies, narrow-winged damselflies have wings so narrow at the base that they appear stalked. In most species males are more brightly colored than females. I just took a picture very similar to this, blue damselfly and all. Yours is better -- how'd you manage to get so close? I had to use an extreme zoom for mine.
