Mike and Linda Allison have been interested in fractals since 1994, when they bought their first computer. Mike's probably sorry he "discovered" them because he's seen very little of Linda in the past 12 years! :-)
They live in Florida, where Linda grew up, but miss their son, daughter-in-law, and grandbabies, all of whom live in Washington.
:-(
They console themselves by spinning colors and getting lost in the images!

What a beautiful design- love the sweet delicate detail and fantasy flow. Perfect dusky lighting, great depth and lovely coloring..and I like the subtle gaussian influence. Yes, "unusual" for you..and still excellent!

Linda, it's a lovely combination of RRL and Gaussian. There is so much to look at, so many details in the spirals. :)

great image looks like something you would find at the bottom of the ocean

I think this is very unusual and agree not your normal style of work. You've used a fascinating shape with much detail and flow. The colours are very subtle and help to create the a more delicate feeling to the structure. It's a beautiful piece that deserves to be displayed in print. Your latest experiments are refreshing to see.

This stunning! I love the swirls and textures in this. The colors make this a magnificent image.

Should make a nice hi-res print! I like how the design loops back into itself. Always a pleasure viewing your work, Linda.

Isn't RRL a gas? You've captured a lovely shape, and the subtle coloring works very well! I like the flow of the loops, and slight shading to make them more 3D. It goes from lace to ribbons! My only slight suggestion might be to tighten the transparency of the gradient at the "aqua" stage just a little bit to sharpen the ribbon- but then, the ethereal feel is lovely, too! How to decide? I definitely think this is a keeper and worthy of a print!

The stars - they are layered over the trees. Can you placed them under the tree layers?

Yes, I was suprised this was yours, but I saw it was coming from someone with creative taste and skill. It is a beauty!!! So many wonderful details.

Simply lovely, Linda, from the colours to the shapes to the perfect title. To my eye it's still very much "you", but a somewhat more subdued palette than your usual. I bet it'll look fabulous printed!

Excellent piece of work Linda. Very nice tweak of your homework. I re-did one of my extras and put it up also. Ed

I really like it. It reminds me of something I was trying to do last night...unsuccessfully.

I took a peek at your great gallery, but I can't give all your wonderful fractals a comment. I like this one very much because it lets your fantasy play. So I see an under water-scene with octopuses. Very beautiful!!
