Description

Wow, Renderosity has been improved a lot since I was last here. I'm sitting here watching the number of characters I have left to type count down while I type. There are so many cool new features to play with. I haven't uploaded anything in a long while, and you folks in the Cinema4D spectrum probably don't know me at all. Hope this is a pretty good introduction. =) This one was modelled entirely in Wings3D except for the righthand rope thing which was NURBS in Cinema (still haven't gotten the hang of Cinema's modelling), and rendered in Cinema. My main complaints with this image would relate to the sharpness of the corners and the general lack of texturing (it's hard to tell because of the static I added in Paint Shop Pro for a sort of "Silent Hill" type look, but I SUCK at UVMapping). Hope you enjoy and all the best.

Very well done ... I like the style. The black nad white colour gives your picture a very dreary atmosphere... :)

I like the lack of textures, like toer said, it adds a very scary atmosphere. I've seen your Bryce work also, and this is looking very good. Hope to see more!

Nice to see you back, and with some new tricks up your sleeve no less, in this case Cinema 4D. Nice camera position, perspective, and modeling.

Nice work Robert:) At first glance I thought I was looking down a shaft, then a realized the true perspective. Looks like something you might see in a game, from one of those cut scenes; you know lol. I didnt know you had gone to C4D; I made the jump a few weeks back myself. Bit of learning to do for sure. But its a nice change not having to use Boolean operations all the time. And hey, you gotta love those render times hey:) Keep it up;) Michael
