Description

This photo of an extinct volcano was taken buy Coleman Alberta Canada. My understanding this volcano has been extinct for about 1.5 to 2 million years old. I had taken the photo just off highway 3. Also known as Crownest pass.

A very magestic old volcano, and in such a lovely setting. This one is a winner. A little postwork to remove the poles at the bottom would make it perfect, IMHO.

Great photo! Extinct??? They said that about Mt.St.Helens in Washington State. Until it erupted in May of 1980. I lived 60 miles from it and watched it from the kitchen window for days. Never are any Mts. totally extinct - only resting!! HUGS TO YOU FOR A GREAT PICTURE!!
