Description

Red Admiral butterfly - not the best of examples, it looks like this one may have over wintered here in the UK. Most of them are migrants from southern Europe and arrive later in the year. Many thanks for viewing and any comments left. Richard. (Click on image to see a larger version)

I sure did 'click' on it.It's a shame,when you look at the numbers,how often people don't.And it can make such a difference!...This is great,Richard.I love the way his antennae look.I think it's so hard to get a great macro/close-up of these guys.I spent hours in a butterfly room taking dozens of shots and ended up with exactly zilch.So you have my sincere admiration for this.Well done,my friend.And once again,good to see you around.smile-M :^)
