Yip it's Friday today ^_^ and well actualy it evening here lol ;P So this is a dry canna seed pod that has opened... Hope you enjoy and thanks for all comments ;) Hope everyone has a great weekend and gets lots of pics to share ;)

I really would have believed that they were black pearls, because I've never seen anything like this before (never seen black pearls either LOL). Wonderful and clear focused shot, mate! And the background complements the subject as a fitting glove!

Excellent shot, composition and crisp focus. Techs are right on. Well done. My only nit is I find the out of focus part of the pod a little distracting. I would have closed about 1 or 2 stops (f/5 or f/5.6) in order to get the complete pod in focus, because it looks like you have the background distance to still have an OOF DOF. Just my humble opinion. Still a winner for me.
