I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

Nice peaceful shot, Anthony. Coolness personified, in the southern sun. Reminds me of a colleague, also retired, who even had the same name as the policeman character in DC THOMSON's 'OOR WULLIE' from the SUNDAY POST, namely P.C. MURDOCH. He was caught, on a sunny Sunday afternoon, in the northern sun, getting stuck into a '99' ice cream, in deepest, darkest Lanarkshire, at C**ke Cross, by the Chief Superintendent ( Chief of Police ) from Hamilton. Brought before him on the following Monday, PC MURDOCH was asked what he thought of his action in uniform, in full view of the public. When my colleague replied that it had tasted just great, and that he had recommended it to a couple of the locals, as an alternative to a cool pint at one of the local hostelries, after work... the 'Super' just shook his head, and told Big HY to go back to work. Now that you are back in the Windy City, with hundreds of photaes in yir camra, ah'm oaf tae the Spanish part o' ra Costa Del Sol for a femly hoaladay tae. I may even have time to take some photos this time. Warm regards, John.

There's something very calming about a sweet old lady. Also, looking at this picture reminds me of my breif stop in Daytona -- cool breeze blowing off the ocean, warm sun, stopping for a moment to take in the beauty of the city after being chased down the beach by seagulls. Thanks for a great photo and ressurrecting a good memory.
