Your background brings the drama to this scene, love the colors and atmosphere... So mysterious and ethereal. Your lady does look startled, and unpleasantly so. Very effective expression here. As I'm looking at this, I think just a hint of a blue light on her would tie her even more to this scene as a whole... as if the hazy blueness of the background is surrounding her as well. Beautifully done, love the feeling of this scene.
