Sorry for being so persistent - spent three or four days taking shots of irises (love the flowers very much) but it was not an easy task to make a nice and original shot. So here is one more upload. Your ideas and criticism is highly appreciated as ususal.

Yes, DoF is extremely difficult for photography like this while composition really isn't; after all, it is a close-up of an iris. DoF on the other hand is an entirely different consideration. It's very difficult for me not to criticize myself when post-processing these types of photos. I always think that I should have stopped either up or down on the aperture or adjusted the EV a tad. Im rarely completely satisfied with my macro attempts. Ill take 20 shots of the same subject just to make sure LOL! In your photo, I believe youve done extremely well on exposure and f stop. The amount of softness is IMHO perfect. If it were mine, Id be very, very pleased with the end result. Beautiful photo here, thanks for sharing :)
