Description

This picture is a blast from the past for me, I drew it two decades ago and had forgotten it completely until my son Jim, (Synapse) now at the other side of the world in Australia, announced that he had photo-copied it before leaving UK and suggested that I post it on Renderosity! I have no idea what inspired me to draw it; maybe I just doodled with a pencil while not looking, and then let my mind conjure up something to build on. Who knows - it was a long time ago!

Very good surrealism. I'm glad this picture was still floating around so that you could share it with us.

Awesome! Glad you posted it. Someone should paint this on a wall so when it's dug up in a thousand years, people will think there was a cult of creepy shark people living in the area.

I just happened to have the file! You see, I'd scanned it 2-3 years ago to show Cassie, and it was in amongst the bundle of loose files I took with me. I also photographed some of your sculptures, which I think I have with me too. Anyway - this is such an imaginative sketch, I see where I got my love of abstracts from, and I notice that quite a few of the works you comment on here are the kinds of things I'm drawn to as well :-)

Wonderful surreal drawing. Great title! :) I sure wish you had more, or would consider resurrecting your talent to create new art. Good of Jim to keep this one.

Jim's a good buddy. Wonderful drawing, I like the flow of line and shape. I agree that it would make a nice painting too.
