Description

Well this is an I-16 (a Russian plane) in Spanish colors. A late model made on license in Spain just before the fall to the facists. The plane is said to be based loosley on the Gee Bee racer. It was quite a revolutionary plane when it came out about the same time as the P-26. Modeled in Wings 3D and rendered in Bryce texture work in photoshop and painter.

My first view of words about WW-II aircraft was about a torpedo bomber that had cloth ailerons that shed their covering in a dive. I thought it was unconsiconable to build such a shoddy composition at that date. Little did I know. I only learned in 1980 that the German logistics was mostly horse drawn. (while playing Panzer Leader) There is much here that stories about Stukas won't clear up. My POV would be an IL-28 "Beagle". I was not impressed. It seemed like I underestimated the past. I really had no time to worry about the runway behind once the first flight was lifting to the clouds. The Space Shuttle in 1981 changed that. I was on my own.

Never the whole post there are bits of brilliance and tons of confusion. JFand L is probably mad I was supposed to make a FW190 but had to show off the pilot and well the 190 has been done many times before. Thanks guys
