Holy Mackerel, them Injuns knew the Midas tale, eh? Must be post-European: Injuns did not know gold as a medium of exchange. 'Course Wampum was mostly inedible too. The RR's exterminated the bison as an indirenct means of genocide against the Plains Injuns. They also indirectly encouraged cattle raising for markets in the East. What's even less widely known is that the RR's generally built their railheads on parcels of land some distance away from established towns. They then made an enormous amount of money on selling new lots, hehe.

I really, really, like this. My only beef is that it's too small. 1024x768 would have been a killer.
