Description

First and foremost... thank you ALL so very much for your gracious comments under Clutch of Dragons... you guys made my day, my week, my month and my year!! Thanks ever so much!! :) Did any of you ever play Snakes and Ladders? Apparently, these days, they've decided to rename the game Chutes and Ladders because the idea of snakes makes kids apprehensive. Geeze... no one hates snakes more than I do (although I would never hurt one.. I just run like hell if one comes into view) but, seriously... isn't that kind of sad?? This one is pure UF... and I thank you for stopping in to have a look! Hugs! Helen :)

Snakes and octupi, and some chopsticks if you're really hungry. I hate snakes as well, chased one with my lawn mower a couple of days ago but he could run alot faster than me. Amazingly detailed work, great technical virtuosity; very impressive. Now that my grass is less than a foot tall I hope to not see any more for a while, snakes that is. A new image from your imagination is something always looked forward to.

This is incredibly imaginative. Love it. I don't share your fear of snakes or other critters. Overcame that long ago by putting them in my hands and realized they didn't hurt. No longer have to sleep in the basement to get away from a moth :) Pick one up next time and release your fear. It's so liberating.

cleverly done and very imaginative... The background looks like a chessboard but the top layer is unfamiliar to me who is an avid chessplayer...No I never played snakes and ladders because the tittle would have turned me off.. lol..excellent picture..

What a fascinating and awesome composition, Helen..and quite beautiful, though I have to admit that snakes have always given me the creeps. I'm certain this one has been charmed by your expert manipulation of form. He's posing proudly for you. :~) Really excellent, my friend. I love your clever mix and arrangement of the elements.

Absolutely stunning! Love the texture on your snake,Helen. I guess we're lucky (?) in Scotland - we only have 4 types in GB. Adders (the only poisonous ones), grass snakes, slow worms (not really a snake but looks like one) and smooth snakes. :)

I don't know the game but I like the image! Is it a tactical game (the chess-board background seems to suggest so)? Beautiful snake and I love the texture on both the snake and the sticks. Excellent work, Helen.

A unique fractal. Lots of interesting detail. Never heard of that game, however. Changing the name of the game because it might make children apprehensive? Yet look at all the violence on TV. Go figure!

I can not say I remember it becalled "Snakes and Ladders", but I do have to play "Chutes and Ladders" now with my little girl. Dog gone if she does not beat me everytime. Anywho, that is one fantastic piece of imagery! So much to look at and not alot in my vocabulary to explain the way it makes me feel. Well done!

This is very clever and well done. Thank goodness we don't have to worry about snakes here as I'm sure I would run a mile if I did see one.
