And you say you had nothing to do with setting this fire and that them finding your wallet at the scene of the crime was just coincidence;P Great shot David, how long did it take to get that under control?

many states has been dealing with fires including Texas with the loss of 1000's of cattle. it can be a terrible thing but does give a renewing of the praire or swamp as Everglades. when I drove into the Everglades I remember seeing brown grass as far as one could see.

this is a very good image. i study smoke for now and this is super looking for what I doing. sorry about the burning
Rockdog
The fire actually started from a lightning strike in the Everglades, with the lack of rain and low water levels there was nothing they could do about it.. It burnt for several weeks. We could definately smell it from miles away.. At a few points they had to shut down freeways and so forth.. I forget about how many acres actually burned before it went out...

Spectacular capture but a sad story.

I can only imagine what it must have been like.

I've got pics from the fire too... one was across the canal from my house, the other was so close you could smell the pine needles freshly burnt. Was this from bonaventure country club? =D Jennifer Gray
