Description
While out doing some evening fishing, we noticed a couple of small white moths flying around us. As we turned to return to shore, we noticed there were more than a few around and wondered what had attracted them. As we started to cross the pond we thought we saw a fog in the distance. Turns out is wasn't a fog but a flock (?) of millions of moths all across the lake. I took this picture on the dark side of the lake. Every white dot is a moth, the close up ones look huge but were less than an inch long. I took another into the setting sun but it wasn't as dramatic. Our journey to shore was about a kilometer but felt like much more as we were swarmed by these moths the entire time.

That is amazing! SO glad you had your camera with you! Some of the closer ones look like stingrays radiating light from within. Wowww, wish I had seen that in person!

Incredible! Little aliens maybe. Well done for capturing it because it wouldn't have been easy.
