Description

Here's another HDR Image that I took this morning. It's hard to see the difference between HDR and LDR unless you see them side by side. Check here for a comparison. Sorry about the watermark. I'm evaluating photomatix, which is the app that combines the AEB images into an HDRI image and calculates the tone mapping. Sounds complicated, but hey, the programme does the work. Thanks for looking.

I visited your site, this is really cool work you are doing with HDR images, I have previously only used HDRI for 3D work for lighting renders. I'm guessing you would know about this but if you have the latest version of Photoshop - CS2 there is an in built function for combining multiple expsoures, there is a pretty well laid out explanation here... http://www.astropix.com/HTML/J_DIGIT/PS_HDR.HTM astronomers like to use it because there is less risk of a stray meteor or satellite streaking through the image. Next time I get out to take some pics I'm gonna have a go myself. Great work. David
