Description

Years after the Hycaron incident, people still talk to me 'bout how they hate the Lazloi. They talk 'bout 'em like they was evil. Sure I understand. The Lazloi caused the Great Twilight, lot of people still hurtin

That's awesome, the rocks and pebbles and the harshness in the sunlight... I need water!

Another "classic." Have you ever toyed with "antiquing" the surface of your ships? I don't know that it would be a plus, or a route you wish to go, but then again it might add another level of realism to things. Regardless, another wonderful piece.

How do you do it, Mark? How do you churn out one great episode after the other? I really like this one. It shows just how powerful the Lazloi really are. When the Lazloi are unconscious, the whole friggin' world goes dark. Beautiful.

I've created a problem of my own design with the Lazloi ships. The design aesthetic of Lazloi ships is meant to be a smooth carved, art-deco look with scant regard for practicality. I needed a design style that left clear blue water between 'traditional' greeble covered ships and those of the Lazloi. Since the hull is made of an extremely strong material in the fine tradition of E.E. 'Doc' Smiths Arenak, Dagal and Inoson, it defies any kind of weathering or abrasion as Elise Mackie discovers, hence the ultra smooth surface.

I have become hopelessly addicted to your story, and look forward eagerly to each new piece of the complicated puzzle. Each new part of the narrative is a gem in itself! Bravissimo!

The render is superb, Mark, as is the latest installment in the Cambrian Moons epic. Excellent work!

Great picture, to an increasingly interesting story. The figure in the middle distance is quite disturbing.
