Description

Shot taken today on the cliff tops. So hot today! In Scotland they call this mist a haar. Here in North Yorkshire we call it a fret. Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Have a happy eventime, hugs to all. Diane.

Almost like cloud cover below. Beautiful capture Di! I love the bush being part of the foreground, it immediately strengthens the idea of a cliff directly ahead!

Superb composition and a great atmosphere. Here we call this effect the mist of the sea.... very particular and interesting for the photographers. The coast seems floating above the sea, it's beautiful.

Ah, seasmoke that actually is fret or haar (funny, 'haar' in Dutch means hair (as object) or her (as referring to a woman)); love to see those occurences, there's always something to be enjoyed on the coastline as nature presents surprises everywhere!
