Description

Kind of a mild super hero..i used pandygirls summer character with her cool red second skin. My son Chris was slammed by a car while riding his motorcycle earlier today and will be in surgery tonight and tommorrow for a badly broken and fractured leg and ankle..Please think posative thoughts for his recovery..Thanks.. His helmet was thrashed..looks like he landed hard right on his head and his helmet saved him..so if you ride a bike..please were a FULL helmet and leather..cuz if my son was wearing one of those little nazi helmets and a T shirt, he would be dead right now..Get well soon Boy..I love you..

Well Bill, if you want testimony and proof after a cycle crash, I'm your man. I'll message you privately, over that. Your work is always very special and this beautiful work is a very fitting dedication to your boy. Really beautiful work. You must be very worried right now. I can only begin to imagine how you and your good lady must be feeling right now. You are in my thoughts. Take good care. Steve :o)

Beautiful image, Bill. Sorry about your son. My thoughts are with him for a speedy recovery. Glad he wore a good helmet. Safety devices should never be shunned. Teaching my son to wear a seat belt saved his life many years ago in a car crash. Every now and then the young do listen. :)

Very beautiful image and heart felt dedication to your son. I am so sorry about your son's accident. My thoughts and prayers are with him. You are so right about people wearing the proper safety devices while riding a motorcycle or car. I am constantly amazed by the number of people who dont wear seat belts in a car or wear helmets on a bike. It is like playing Russian Roulette. I was in a serious accident years ago, where my car blew a tire and then skidded off the road and rolled down a steep, rocky cliff, rolling at least 3 1/2 times. I know that the safety belt saved my life. Most people dont survive that kind of accident anyway, but without a seat belt, it would be certain death. Since I have been a very serious accident I can truly emphasize with your son and his condition. You have all my best and prayers for his complete recovery. You take care too !!!

Hopes for a speedy recovery. I know what it's like having a child in the hospital. As for the helmet... a friend of mine was saved in a bicycling accident by his helmet (fell ten feet headfirst onto an underwater rock). The helmet did was it was supposed to do, i.e. disintegrate in absorbing the kinetic energy of the impact. He now keeps its remnants hung on his office wall as a wear-your-helmet conversation piece. "This would have been my skull..."

Sorry to hear about you son - here in New Mexico we don't have the helmet law. They had it recinded for some stupid reason. Glad he WAS wearing a helmet, and he only messed up his leg. I've seen the aftermath of a rider who didn't wear his helmet. It still resides in my mind. BTW: Great image - you cherry blossom is beautiful
