Description

1 of 3 As I write, the Mormon Cricket is invading Southern Idaho and Northern Nevada. The crickets (actually a katydid) move by the thousands in unison devouring crops, gardens and at times each other. Yesterday my job sent me to the Duck Valley Reservation that borders both states. Portions of the highway were smeared with remains so thick it was like driving through a thin layer of mud. A snowplow was out scraping the road. Need I say more.....? For more information on this interesting creature, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mormon_cricket Stay tuned for "Finger Lickin Good"! As always, advice/critique welcome! Have a creepy crawler night, J
