Description

Taken at France Park, Cass County Indiana Since Brenda (JustAlice) posted her beautiful little mushies, I felt I had to come back with some sort of fungus as well. Ok, so this isn't as cute as hers. Oh well. ;^) But it does look like coral (to me anyway). This little bunch is about three inches tall and has the color of Ramaria stricta but the shape of Ramaria aurea, so I'll leave it to someone more educated than I to determine which species this is. Have a great weekend and Thanks for Looking! Ken

I absolutely LOVE it. At first I thought it was coral and then had to look again to realize it was more incredible fungus! Beautifully framed and the lighting is just right for fungus. Great shot!

So cool, so way cool. And the hunt for fine looking fungi is on. Ready the camera, polish the macro button, look out world (OK OK, look out Indiana) here we come. Lovely shot dear, our short two and half hour walk turned out to be a good one.
