Description

Boy you see a beautiful spring image like this, and it is hard to believe that there was ever any snow! It is just now summer in the Sierras! I love to take shots like this, with flowers in the foreground...looks like Sierra paradise to me! I would like to thank all who commented on my last post, I am glad that you all enjoyed it! 8-)

Hi Guys! Glad you are liking this scene! LOL! No, Kim, it was not from Shady Rest, it is off of Mineret, right before you get to Old Mammoth! Had you fooled LOL! And yes, Andreas, we are sapposed to be in summer, but our winter was so heavy this year that things are just now starting to bloom! Alot of the hikes that by now are excessable are still not because of the heavy snow! LOts of fabulous waterfalls though! Which I will share next post! 8-)

I agree - wildflowers and meadows in spring can't be topped for sheer beauty. Worth the wait, tho! :) And I'm really looking forward to those waterfall shots - your images are always incredibly scenic. Most likely you'll put me right out of business!
