I have seen this gorgeous picture earlier today in my mail-box, and now I just have to comment it ;) It is so incredible beautiful, Christel, and I LOVE the mood and sad atmosphere in this render (as you probably know). Her expression is so wonderful made, and those tears with her wounds..she really looks so sad and hurted. Her outfit is wonderful made, and you have done such a marvellous job to make that hood's texture fit the rest of the clothes. And you are sure right, the song IS beautiful..the same is your picture my friend (even if it's sad..but I love pictures with emotions..I just cannot make them myself anylonger..hooked on that fairy-thing LOL) fav ~Love and big hugs from Hedda~

Well, never heard the song before.. Guess I don't listen to Johny Cash much!! You're image is a dark one though, so I must assume the song is as well!! I would also have to say from the image, that it has little to do with her hurting herself!! But perhap's I'm just reading more into it than I should.. Nice image though, and would hope her pain goes away, whatever the cause!!

Most times I look at your work, and all I can do is just ponder over how wonderful it truly is. Ths piece is perfect. Accompanied by that fabulous song(I love that song too), it bruises the emotions. It's a spectacular piece. Doesn't get much better than this. Excellent!

Oh My !!! This is stunning work and done to a song by an Singer whom I loved and highly respected. Looks very classical in origin. Like a renaissance paitning. Really well done. Very appropriate lyrics for the image. The two combined are fantastic. She does look alot like a madonna. From some reason, I believe this is quite intentional on your part.
