Description


I have a habit of wandering old cemetaries... reading stones... dwelling in the history. And wondering what the stories are behind the people that lie amongst the stones. Especially those that died too young (maybe one day I'll share the story of 6 little stones all in a row). I did play with this photo in Picasa a little...

The date struck me as odd as there wasn't really a war on in 1926. So I looked up the 70th Regiment and found this link: http://freepages.military.rootsweb.com/~cacunithistories/70th_Artillery.html There was an artillery regiment of the 70th CAC in WWI.
