When you look at me, you'd probably think "oh... boy... lit geek"... ok... you wouldn't be far off. I am a bit of a geek. I love books, photography, art, crafts, genealogy and being a plain old homebody. I'd rather read than go to a bar. I'd rather cuddle a cat that some people.Â
Anyway.Â
I'm the head of Technical Services & Genealogy at a local library. I sit in front of a computer most days, adding items to the system before they can be circulated. When we get a request for some sort of genealogy research, I usually work on that as I can.Â
When I'm not workin, I'm attempting to fix up the house I've been in for 6 years. My parents call it the "Granny house"... It was built about 1900, and had been modfied over the years. It's a nightmare at times... but I'm enjoying learning to do wood work, plumbing, drywall, etc.Â
In my spare time, I enjoy using photography & Daz to attempt to create what's rumbling thru my mind. If I'm not working on that, I'm researching my own family history. One day, I'm going to make a book out of it all. I have goals.Â
anything else? feel free to ask.Â

The date struck me as odd as there wasn't really a war on in 1926. So I looked up the 70th Regiment and found this link: http://freepages.military.rootsweb.com/~cacunithistories/70th_Artillery.html There was an artillery regiment of the 70th CAC in WWI.
