Description

Best seen in full 1600 x 1200 size view. Fantasy Castle, Mediterranean Balcony, Fonte Aretusa, Bridge of Pontus, Male and Female Statues (from Temple Ruins), and Greater House of Healing... all DAZ Studio items. Scenery and rendering done in Vue E'spirit 5. My brother (the writer), is my sounding board for most of my artwork (thanks also to my buddy Tim for his input ideas), and his biggest problem with this one was the difference between the "castle" and the mountains. My "explanation" for this was simple: the mountains rock provided the stones for building the structures, after being carved and polished by Master Stoneworkers. That works, right? Any other ideas on this or other works I've done, please, pass them on to me.

can picture myself apon the watercraft heading into the pass to get to the city.. looking up and apon the statues that both guard and welcome you to this place with great awe. then looking to the city with anticipation of the wonders it holds and the reward it offers to the end of a long hard voyage. Good work and hope to see more medi. type work like this in the future. am a big fan of ad&d type art work.. somthing that lets you allow your mind to explore the images and imagine your self there if not but for just an instant
