It looks very much like I imagined the South to be. Usually I'm surprised at how different things are! Anyway, it's nice to visit shady places along the water on a warm afternoon. I wonder about the people who crossed that bridge - and those who built it. A lot of stories untold.

You certainly catch atmospheres in your scenes. It seems North Carolina is from another world. I'm not sure about the frame on this one. It sort of distracts from the image a bit. 90 degrees here and rising so nice to see a cool picture.

Yup, I can feel the Southern heat and humidity on this brown river. What a lovely capture. It makes me wonder why the bridge was left to rot, or maybe be dismantled. Where did it lead to? Perhaps it was the lifeline for an old plantation or a backwoods town.
