Something about me? O Kay! I have recently moved to North Carolina from Oregon, and being recently retired,I find myself busier than ever. Photography is a whole new world for me and I am most grateful for your comments and time taken. Thank you.BIOWhere to start? First, let me say that I am a very young mother with very old children(4 sons), and my motto is "If it doesn't sparkle, don't buy it". I am either a 'new hippy' or a 'new gypsy',(the vote is still out on that). Let me say how much I am enjoying all of the wonderful exibitions of your talents. Thank you, May our gracious Creator, Jehovah, Bless each of you and your wonderful appreciation of His Creation.

It looks very much like I imagined the South to be. Usually I'm surprised at how different things are! Anyway, it's nice to visit shady places along the water on a warm afternoon. I wonder about the people who crossed that bridge - and those who built it. A lot of stories untold.

I like how you have framed this and it is a lovely shot. You can let your imagination go on wondering who crossed here.

You certainly catch atmospheres in your scenes. It seems North Carolina is from another world. I'm not sure about the frame on this one. It sort of distracts from the image a bit. 90 degrees here and rising so nice to see a cool picture.

Yup, I can feel the Southern heat and humidity on this brown river. What a lovely capture. It makes me wonder why the bridge was left to rot, or maybe be dismantled. Where did it lead to? Perhaps it was the lifeline for an old plantation or a backwoods town.
