Description

Hello! Well, here is a bird shot that came out clear. When I looked at it closer, it looks like a baby blue jay. If anyone knows, feel free to correct me or back me up. :) It looks a little odd maybe because I had to do some adjusting to bring out the bird. He was in the shadows and the tree leaves were real bright. So, I hope you like it and would love to hear your comments about it, good or bad. Thanks for the comments on my last upload Nisse Sniffing. I know it's just a cat, but I just love that picture for some reason. :) Thanks for stopping by to have a look and I hope you all have a wonderful day!! :)

Ohhh !!!! this couldn't been easy to catch...the birds never stay quiet so I can "shot" them... but I have to drop some food...then they do...stuuuuuupid birds giggle. This capture is very beautiful!! Lovely mood and so great to see it. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful postwork to bring out the detail - lot's of depth to this shot. It looks like a blue jay to me, not that I'm an expect. But we have several around our neighborhood, and they are great "watchdogs." They raise a "flap" when anything or anyone comes around. When they develop the crest and deep blue feathers, they are quite beautiful. Terrific capture...

I would say that it is a blue jay, excellent capture no matter what.

depending on location, it's some kind of scrub jay. the adults have blue heads, the young have grey heads. there are alot of 'em around here (silicon valley), very tame. they come to eat when I call 'em.

i agree with Miss Nancy, knowing the general geographic location usually helps. it seems to be a very pale and dusty blue...
