Description

There I was out walking On a journey with no end I could walk till the sun don't shine Or rivers never bend Looking for some shelter For a broken mind to mend Counting signs and river rocks With no control of reason I mock the trail left behind As it changes with each season Thinking if I lost my way It was the tree's fault from treason Watching as the green grass Mingled with the weeds Whose territory was turning bare From lack of healthy seeds And the grass just grew weaker From fear of having needs Onward as I thought in strands Of things that didn't relate Imagining what could be seen Was just left up to fate Or my control over mutiny When the mind starts to debate A lone lemming traveling On a path that doesn't fit Giving it a strange name In hopes it won't be missed It's all a part of thinking hard Of things that don't exist .......... I'm on a road less travelled myself. I've seen that behind every good thing there's been some kind of pain. It's after the pain that we see a new road that we haven't walked yet. I always feel like singing your poems and look forward to your postings. Best wishes to you.

I'm not sure which I enjoy more: Your writings or your brilliant artworks. Like salt and pepper, each serves the other in harmonic balance. T.P.
