Description

"On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?" ~Meat Loaf (1979) Actually, I'd rather offer my throat to the wolf with the pitcher of ice cold margaritas... ;) My utmost thanks to all of you for your gracious and encouraging feedback on Neptune's Locker... I truly appreciate the time and keystrokes on my behalf... Thank You!! And many thanks for taking the time to view this one! Hugs! Helen :)

The sparks seem to be flying, or maybe the fireflies are just fired up from all the heat and humidity. The power's been out twice so far tonight and it's been raining quite a bit, the internet available only now and then. Guess that's what summer is all about, the tension of opposing air masses and magnetic fields. The wolves abound and carry many different flowers, grandma can have very big teeth. Exciting work, magnificent!

It conjures up memories of fireflies on a hot and humid summer night in Montreal. With the odd mosquito in the mix based on all those spikey things. Love the image as usual Helen.

So very lovely. Beautiful warm-glowing feel to it. I like what you did with the subtle texturing with a spot of blushing red to mark the end of a warm day.

The title fits. The colors are perfect. Love the twinkling lights. Like fireflies which we have here and thrill at watching in the evening. Love your avatar.

Your firefly colors are perfect, LM. Have to catch a bunch and put them in a Mason jar :) Looking at this one too long makes me start swatting, expecting the mosquitoes to start biting. CHEERS!

Immagine splendida...da un momento all'altro ci si aspetta di vedere apparire sui fiori da te creati, la fatina di Peter Pan, Trilly. Magica!
