Description

Aloooooooha! Howsit everyone! I hit a small milestone on this upload tonight being my 400th upload! That being said I decided to throw up an image I liked just for the smell of it! I wanted something a little different from the norm, so purely by accident I screwed around in photochop and came up with this..I didn't try for selective coloring but in the process of channel mixing this I came up with this half colored version...I know it's a little off the wall, but hey it's my 400th so I'm allowed... Now about the shot itself...Because of the steepness of the beach and the steady pounding of the waves, this creates quite a dramatic backwash as the wave meets the receding wave. This wave is a actually breaking over itself. Many thanks for your all who left comments or viewed my last few posts of this beach..Much Mahalo's for having a peek. Reminds me of fishing along the coast. Waves coming in and waves going out. Being caught and sandwich inbetween is a trip. Excellent wave shots my friend. Aloha

Wow - 400!!! And such a stunning array of beautiful work too. Jeeze, what talent! Like this shot - catching the light in such a manner that the foam looks like a time exposure while the droplets are still caught in mid-air. Just amazing! Wonderful photography, Dave!
