Description

Irina, a character from yet another comic of mine. She's a reasonably minor character, but is my roommate's favorite, so I drew a big picture of her and here she is. Her tattoo is for an airborne unit, and I realize the black beret was for MVD troops, but it looked better than the blue one. And she's clearly not being very formal. Drew the AK big by accident, but liked how heavy and dangerous it looked, so I didn't change it much. Background is Herat, Afghanistan; Irina's part of the story takes place during the Soviet occupation, about 18 years ago. Drawn, scanned, and colored in photoshop 6. makes you wanna sing... Soyuz nerushimiy respublik svobodnykh Splotila naveki velIkaya Rus'... Or perhaps not. Enjoy. ~D

Nice work, I really like the char. but the background doesn't work for me... they are too different... But the details are brilliant...

i like the rifle a lot: very good bkg taste too! Nice hair and photoshop use as you always do. Practice more on the hands and the fingers.. but very good job
