I was mesmerized by the beauty of the Oregon and Washington beaches, where the forest comes right up to the ocean. This is the view from Ecola State Park in Oregon. Thanks for looking and thanks for your views and comments on yesterday's photo... Maria

The colors in this are just lovely! I like the way the green trees play against the white breakers of the ocean. And a deserted beach! What a rarity! The mountains out west make our Georgia mountains look like tiny little hills!

Now that's my kind of beach! Maine and Oregon have the decency to have good shade trees sometimes right to the water; the way it should be.... :) Well composed image.

I really like how the wave breaks came out in this..perhaps you could have gotten a little closer to the edge, or cropped the bottom of the image... Still a great shot..

Exellent shot! Used to live in Lakeside, between Reedsport and Coos Bay in the early 70's,the middle of Dune buggy Country.

Oregon beaches in my opinion are the prettiest on the planet. You can see Haystack Rock in the distance. Have you seen my photo of it? Cannon Beach is simply beautiful! Thanks for sharing this beauty!

Such a pretty shot. I was standing at that exact spot two days ago, but the sky got cloudy just before sunset. This is much better than anything I got that day.
