Joe!! That is amazing! I don't know how you are getting such clear shots hand held. I can't get a clear shot hardly at all! lol He looks so soft and feathery. Excellent colors and clarity in this as well. So, hun, when are you going to give me some lessons? LOL I love that you put what equipment you use.....my wish list keeps growing. Beautiful capture! Have a great day! :)

From the look of things, yes you are doing fine without a tripod. This is an excellent photo, well done!

Thank you for all the comments my dearest friends... It is really appreciated and you all don't know how am i glad to read them.. Btw. Daniel And Marlene.. Yes.. I hate tripods tho.. And i guess i mentioned that before in some of my posts.. I can hold any of my listed equipments on my page from EF-S 18-5MM all the way upto EF 500mm f/4L IS USM with additional extention tubes and filters.. Maybe am strong enough and carring a super balance? Yes i am :)) I took that from my dad tho.. It is like i can hold my breath under the water upto 3.5-4.0 mins ;;) I just hate tripods, Even tho i have super ones.. I use them for astro-photography or any lens ever the EF 500mm f/4L IS USM So thank you again and hope to see the next shot :) Many regards as well as respect :) Hugs to all JOE

Joe, you are in the ranks with the other super bird shooters...with the long lens. Hand held is a minor miracle. Do you have a very, very slow heartbeat?

Incredible clarity, I wouldn't try half that distance with a 600mm

very sharp, but what is it ? looks rather like a Minivet (Pericrocotus) of some kind ? from India / SE Asia.

I have no chance photographing the birds with my cam... They would have to stay still with me only a centimeter away. This is gorgeous ! Have a great day Joe!
