I went on a field trip to Silver Falls and this is the best picture, I think, I have ever taken in my LIFE.

This is quite nice. A wee bit overexposed perhaps, but a good shot of the falls, and nicely framed. Are you another Oregonian? You're at least the fourth one to post a photo of Silver Falls this year.

Yes. Went there the first time ever. I took this picture with a very old digital camera. My Nikon wasn't working. The digital I have now must have been one of the first. lol

You should go there when the falls are nearly frozen. It's quite a sight to behold. And nice shot! It's funny you should post this, as last night I prepared an image of the Silver Falls Lodge for posting later today :)

It's an amazing natural wonder at any time of the year. But to be on the trail behind the waterfall during the heavy rain periods of winter is simply awesome. I hope you will re-visit - each time the waterfalls along the Trail of 10 Falls seem somehow different. A beautiful image.
