Hi RR Members,
Well all I can say is that I am addicted to photography and I am an Aussie. Have learnt so much from talented photographers and artists here on RR. Made some special friends as well. Love doing portraits, pregnancy shots and weddings. I know I am known as the Frog Queen, because of my images. But believe me I do scream if they jump on me whilst photographing them.hehe.
If you like to see more of my wedding shots you can visit my personal website www.chrismcqueenimages.com
Please feel free to browse and contact me. I dont bite much.
Takecare Chris:)

Chris, I wished I could ease your pain, but I guess nobody can... Just give it a place in your life, like you did here. It's good to share it with us, to let us know, so some of us know that they're not alone, and you will know it too. I hope this makes sense... And that it may give you strength to shed some light on that dark side. Brilliant poem and image... Hugs, -Geert

A photo overwhelmed by dark, yet the lighter parts of the rose make a bold statement. Very appropriate poem, may you find comfort in sharing.

You are very creative, not only in your photography, but also in the format of your writing . Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here ... we might as well dance. Sometimes in order to enjoy the light we need to know the darkness. But in this process we need to remember to be be good to ourselves. Blessings and hugs to You Chris Tofi

While this brings much sadness to me, Chris, I think tofi's words ring true: "Sometimes in order to enjoy the light we need to know the darkness." We all will face the death of someone close in our lifetime, but as a father I have not, and your loss of a newborn child as a mother I cannot want to imagine. It must have been a very painful moment for you, which I am very deeply sorry for. I lost my father when I was young, and due to certain unfortunate family circumstances, I was unable to attend his funeral. As a matter of fact, I hadn't seen him in years prior to his death. It was just a few weeks ago that I finally found where he was laid to rest (via a long search on the Internet), and I'm going to visit his grave in the coming weeks. All throughout my adult life I have wondered about him, remembering frequently, as to not forget his face, for I don't even possess a picture of him. As a small child I remember good things about him, and the bad things about him as I grew older I try not to remember. He may not have been a very nice person in general, but he was my father, and I must forgive him. Visiting his grave after so many years will hopefully bring closure to the secret, painful agony of not having him in my life, and I can finally lay him to rest in the emotional sense. It is long overdue. I fully understand why you posted this, Chris. I can fully understand the necessity of it. Much Love to you, Steve Perrault

I can feel you TWIN... For many reasons and now you made everyone remember his other side as well.. We are talkig about Darkness here eh! You wanna know something Christine? Close your bodily eye, that you may see your picture first with the eye of the spirit. Then bring to light what you have seen in the darkness, that its effect may work back, from without to within. Love your post and your words.. Have a lovely day and awesome weekend.. Where is the rest of the stuff? :)) JOE

Chris, I am so sorry for your the loss of your baby. Nothing I can say can ease your grief, but I still want to try in hopes that at some point it may add to what others have written and you will find comfort. Accept the darkness as a place of healing. Not to forget, rather to remember a part of you and your husband that has gone on before you, to a place where you will all meet again. Nothing ends! It only changes. When the pain eases, you will be able to contine to bloom, just like the rose in your beautiful photograph. You will reach for the light and find peace again. Loving hugs, Suzanne

Your words will touch everyone who reads them. No matter if they lost a loved one or will in the future, they will remember the words you speak and pass them on. Much like your word your photographs are something to remember for all enternity. chloe
