I love scenes like this. The canopy of the trees feels like you are going through a tunnel. The trees are wonderful, so full of character. The most interesting thing here to me is that they are perfectly aligned. Thus creating a perfect line shadow in the road! Speaking of the older trees, because I can see younger ones on the left side of the road. Even the trunks have grown in proportion to one another. At first I thought it was just my imagination, but then I looked at the trees in the forefront and the ones after the first bend in the road. Yep, they were planted exactly that way. It makes the road look like a sidewalk. Other than the beauty of the road itself, I wonder, is this something that caught your eyes also? You have such an eye for extrodinary things. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful composition, and it's almost like there is the first tinge of fall in this photo. Perhaps it's just the way the light is striking the leaves, but the faint tint of yellow reminds me of fall. Wonderful depth to this shot, and the gentle curve of the road adds so much to the visual impact.

Beautiful composition and subjects. I'm glad it's not from around here if it were either the power company or the road commission would be busy wacking those trees down.

When I see images like this, I think, "The path to Forever" Unending, this seems, and it speaks of hope and new experiences. The lighting here is beautiful, I love the illumination of the canopy. Excellent capture!
