Description
Hi all,
Believe it or not but this one I shot with my cell phone Sony Ericsson K750i (2MPix).
I haven't bought film yet. (I still prefere film SLR).
In my opinion this is very good phone and my one and only digital camera.
It took me about 2 or 3 hours to finish it in GIMP.
I'm curious what is your opinion about this photo.
Best wishes to all of you.
Marcin

Technology, just a few years ago if you would have told someone you were going to take a beautiful picture with your 'PHONE' they would laugh. But you did, and it's great.

An excellent image, I agree film is far better than digital, if nothing else film makes you think more about your shot. I recently read a report saying that phone cameras would soon make compact cameras a think of the past; I think you are helping to prove that. 2-3 hours postwork is a long time; did you know you can produce this affect in camera with a long shutter speed and a voom lens? It would take about 2 seconds; see my St Marys Church in my gallery. Taken 29th July 2005. Blessed Be, Zachary.

I do agree with all of you. Nowadays cellphone's built-in cameras are very good. they give you acceptable results for fun shooting :-) it took this picture as a fun but when i saw how it looks like i decided to do some postwork and upload it here. There is no doubt, that cellphone's camera can't give you so much control over exposition (aperture and shutter) than SLR or DSLR, but it can be useful when you need a digital notepad ;o) I still take my photos using oldfashioned Pentax MX (no A,S,P or other modes) with two primes Pentax SMC 50/1.7 and Pentacon 135/2.8 (m42 via PK-M42 adapter) and two zoom lenses Tokina RMC 70-210/3.5 and Sigma 28-80/3.5-5.6 I recently bought old Minolta 5000 AF (US: MAXXUM 5000 AF) with great zoom Minolta AF 35-70/4. To Zachary_Hunt. Yes, i know, that 2-3 hours of postwork is long time, but in this case there was no other way :o) (i must buy this film soon). I saw your picture of St Marys Church. It's a beautiful picture :o))) Changing focal lenght (zoom-out I suppose) in conjunction with long time exposition gave you great result. Best regards from Poland to All of you :o))))

WOW mate.... That sure is impressive even if it was taken with a 5d it's still a good shot lol :P Looked at the link... It's impressive for a cellphone!!! But I think i doesnt compare to very well to a canon dslr lol ;) but I'm using one so I'm biased ;) But lovely shot mate! Thanks for sharing and look forward to more! :)
