Description

About a half mile south of my home, overlooking Lake Michigan. The mansion was actually built in the 1920s, when the lakefront was at the base of that hill. The garden was added in the mid-90s and is a popular spot for receptions and other posh soirees. The "Neptune Gate" is the little used lakeside entrance. Mostly it gets unlocked for the aforementioned soirees. Camera lenses were 24" apart to exaggerate the depth illusion.

Gotta love lakefront property. There are many beautiful homes on Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Chicago. Wish I could afford one!
