Description

Tival arrived home from guard duty and sat down in the chair with a thud, as he saw his youngest daughter dressed in armor. "What do you think you are doing?" he demanded as he stared at her. "Daddy, please don't be angry..You've always told us to do what we think is right. I did. I joined the Queen's Guard." "You what??" he roared angrily, yet feeling pride in his youngest. "Please daddy, i had to. I am not like mair to marry some farmhand. I want to fight, i want to be like you. " What could he say, he had told her to follow her heart.. staring at her, softly he said.. "promise me that you will be careful.." "I promise, daddy. Ohhh i promise.." her face lighting with such joy..

Father and Daughter moments from any time period are very touching. This one is no exception. Very nicely done and the textures on the armor are wonderful.

One can see the love between them. As a man, I can also sympathize with a conflict between pride for the daughter's choice, and fear for her safety. The image and the story are quite compelling.
