I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

Bloody midgies... F*****g hate 'em. I'm glad you are so intrepid though, for how else would we see what you see.

I remember midges well, particularly a fortnight's holiday in mid-'95 when we were in a caravan at Resipole on the shore of Loch Sunart... being plagued with 'em when you're INSIDE is no joke either and despite plugging up all the air vents with wet tissues they STILL found their way in! Anyway... this is one of those classic shots that infuses a sense of tranquillity into a room when it's hanging on a wall... love that blue sky, you can tell this shot HAD to have been taken between May and July, any other month and everything's under cloud lol. Thanks for sharing again :-)

Great contrasts of colours and a beautiful scene but your description makes my skin crawl at the memories of those flesh-hunk-eating clegs! And breathing in midges inside tents and waking up with a face like sandpaper with so many bites. Arrgh!
