Description
Amid a sea of nappies and sleepness nights I've been able to fire up P6 again. I have been able to do a reasonable amount of oil painting in the last 6 months (I'd post here, but I can't get a reasonable photo of the finished paintings), which really develops your eye for color and detail.
This render encapsulates some new ideas I've been playing around with - mainly in the areas of reflected light for skin realism. It uses the Unimesh Realism Kit skin shader, with some tweaks for reflections and the gather node. It's still got a long way to go, but shows promise.
Artisitically, I think this render would have been much better without the bikini....
No postwork.

I agree about the bikini, but why take away the joy from so many prudes? LOL! Most excellent realism! Love your lighting, the pose and the skin texture. Her physique is awesome, very natural looking. There seems to be a (stain?) or something on the floor near her feet -- spray-on tan? :p

I thought you'd disappeared in the midst of Poser nodes... good to see you're alive and haven't lost your touch... and I agree... lose the bikini next time... these new nodes of yours sound interesting! Welcome back, my friend. The skin in this render, as with all your renders, looks just about perfect. The attempt at reflected light is interesting, and seems to give the skin a hint of GI (without the actual global lighting). I have some reservations in regards to the darker areas of the skin. They seem a little too harsh on my monitor, but it hardly takes away from the beauty! Great job.

Nice to see you posting again. I'd hate to loose a major source of inspiration. Regarding nappies let me give you the best piece of advice I was given when I had my baby boy (now 3.5). "The first two years are shit!" - I know now it was meant literally and metaphorically. Lots of joy to be had to but if you start from this point the only way is up. BTW love the coloured shadows esp. under the feet.
