Description

Do not know what type of beetle this is, but then nearly 1/5 of all the species of life on Earth is some type of beetle (at least that's what I've heard numerous times before). I unfortunately did not have enough time to locate this particular type, though I did try. Thanks for looking, have a fantastic day!

I tried to help you for identification (but my books don't cover the American continent....) but finally I gave up ! These plants/flowers are indeed the best place to see & capture insects ! Excellent macro, Troy ! :~)

Nice photo. Not sure of the species but it resembles a lighting bug.

I just saw Richard's pic of Queen Anne's Lace, and thought it looked different than what I've seen around here...and so does yours.I guess there have been changes to it over time.Regardless,it's a great capture,Troy.Very well composed.Wish I could help you identify the beetle, but I only know flowers...and even that's only just a little.Sorry.-M :^)
