Description

As I was on the Art Walk this month I saw the Boss Hog . I never saw one. I saw photos of a Greman V8 Motocycle but that it[it bigger that this one] I know some people would love to have this one. Me for one. I dont have a motocycle. At one time when I was a teen I did have a scooter with no gears on it; top speed was 40 to 50 mph. When I was a teen I dream of been a Hell Angels. Thank God some dreams we dream do not come true.

Wow! That's a beauty! I love motorcycles, but we've known several people that have been in accidents on motorcycles. A couple of them were the 'other person's' fault, but that didn't help their injuries to be less serious. Still, that doesn't keep us from admiring the beauty of the motorcycles, right? Very nice pic Jock! (:

The trouble with boss hosses of this sort is that (1) they are mostly a function of asphalt or concrete paving; (2) you can't butcher and eat them as you are retreating from Moscow. You bring out the squatness and boredom rather well, ho hum. Must be the swamp brick in you, hehe.

Holy cow, I bet if this thing had wings it could get up to 5000 feet. Truly scary! Yes, thankfully some dreams never become reality -- other dreams become nightmares. Our family had the sad experience yesterday of passing a motorcycle accident on the freeway... the bike was on the left shoulder with its mangled rear wheel/tire off and the biker himself was way down in the median (of the divided highway). I prayed God he was wearing a helmet, otherwise I don't see how he could have survived. :[

I've never seen one either, it looks like it's engine is bigger than the one in my '94 Saturn!

I read about a guy who strapped a jet engine to his car, they scrapped him off the bluff. The professor is right, thems aint the horse power you can eat, when things go south!

IMO, I would have taken this shot from the other side...more light ! as we miss the details, also I would have liked to see the whole bike, rather...otherwise it's fine Cheers

I was a child living in Lafayette in the late 60's and always wanted to grow up and ride for Hells Angels. I guess if I ever grow up I will do that. I'll have to get a bike first.

Guess which one is mine. The bicycle in the background! LOL Long ago I was in the fire service and Hell Angels and Outlaws both had chapters and club houses(?) in our territory. Both places they bricked up the window except for gun ports. Scarey hombres. I'm glad you didn't become one of them because there would be a strong possibilty you would be dead or in prison now.

Glenn Curtiss built a V-8 motorcyle using one of his own aircraft engines and set the Land Speed recod on the sands of Daytona in (one moment please for a date...1907 http://volusiahistory.com/pioneer.htm). The first car to go over 100mph in a standing 1/4 mile was powered by a Allison V-12 in 1953. What's new, pussy cat? I expect this guy is a lawyer and has filed a patent on his motorcycle. Just let it be art. It will live longer.
