Canadians are grown-ups--why are they not building their own automobiles by now? Mexicans too? Guess they are both quite happy with the Germans, Koreans, and Japanese. The real comedy--How the United States moved mountains to lose the Canadian tractor marketto the old Soviets, hehe. (partial to the '51 Ford, and this is an enlightenment. Did Ford hire an Italian design team?)

I taught myself to drive with a 50' ford in my mother's short driveway when no one was home. my brother was storing the car there for a friend. I got the feel for a clutch and shifting gears in about 50'. ford used both names here in the states also for Comet in the mid 60's and Mercury in the 70's. excellent dof and an awesome example of ford mania

Whoaw!!! Scale check!!! What size is this car? The style suggests big, grand...yet the scale seems smaller? Helped by the woman walking behind it who makes it look positively "Dwarfish". Was this a compact car? In the 50's? Or did you take this at a low angle with a narrow angle lens? The colors, and of course effects, are gorgeous!!! Love the blue!!!

When I saw them driving through Canada from Sarnia to Queenston, I always saw more "crown" in them. Later when the adults talked about old roads having more crown I was puzzled. Maybe that was how I ended up in with a Quebec furrier for a landlord in a twin condo tower next to the Tiara. Crowns and tiaras don't mix. I never could talk about them with anyone without conflict immediately arising about my simple perception.
