A very exciting image! Lots of energy in the colors, and although the ship takes up a large percentage of the screen, the mental visualation makes it seem dwarfed by the nebula's vastness. One thing that makes a difference to me is whether the ship is safely coming toward the viewer, or is about to go into the "furnace". The latter would evoke a sense of forboding. If you thought it worthwhile, you could do this by making the details of the ship more visible (less shadow) IF it would be obvious which end of the ship is forward; or, it could easily done by choosing a title for the render that would communicate the emotion of safety or foreboding. Good work!

Great image, James! Love the background pic. I believe adding some color and detail to the ship (which I'm sure is in the works) would remove some of the ambiguity in the picture. Great WIP.
