This page contains samples of some of my best artwork and various 3D models to date. Feel free to comment on anything you see here. BIO I have been an artist all my life from sculpting to painting to building ships in bottles I have had a hand in nearly everything. Several years ago I was given a glimpse at what a computer could do when an artist was at the helm. I quickly learned that the way to express myself and bring my visions to life was 3D art. I have a background in printing, graphics communication and advertising design. I became lead modeler at Faultline Studios and worked on illustrations for the card game "Crown of the Emperor". I have worked on several book covers and enjoy bringing ideas to life.
I am now lead graphics artist for RonEd Media and have continued to increase my abilities and portfolio. My goal has been to do illustrations for a sci-fi book, magazine or non-fiction titles on the paranormal. I enjoy creating various images usually sci-fi in nature that center on the darkside or human thought and technology. The many "what ifs" that fill our minds at dark hours and the need to believe in other things that give us hope in dark times. I have learned to use many programs and will likely learn many more to help in telling my stories better. The latest addition to my pallet is Vue 8 Complete and the results are amazing, expect more. I would like to thank Sci-fi channel and Sci-fi weekly for allowing me to share some of my visions with the world " My latest contribution to the 3-D world is the Cydonia model and material sets, a joint project between me and Gill Brooks. You can also find my "Shattered Worlds" sets and materials for Vue and Poser in the market place.

Very nice image. The geometry of the dress looks very good. The material looks a bit artifical - non cloth like. But maybe you wanted that effect (it's a dream, right?). The background looks a little flat. Maybe a hill would be nice to break it up a bit. Or increase the fog, so that it vanishes. Great work on the vegetation.

Yeh that material took forever to get right sort of a translucent reflective watery substance that would be incredible in real life :) I agree with you a hill might be nice! I think I'll give that a try. Thanks!

Great stuff! I like the realism of the lighting - a perfect grey day feel with a slightly macabre touch! Love what you did with that dress material! Well done :)

I do not share BlueIce2 point of view. The BG for me does not look flat but pictural, a kind of paint, and the young woman in it looks real but her feet fade in the background which is an excellent choice. As for the cloth, it may be different from ours, she can live in say 2050 with different cloth texture than ours… but now we have some plastic fibers that look like that. For me it is one of the most beautiful images that I have seen using Poser people, the only critics that I could do concerns the shoulders which on the default models of Daz and eFrontier definitely need to be corrected in Photoshop, they are far too short (apparently N-Sided Quidam characters have corrected that, especially in the the new Pro woman, appeared October 2007)

You have definitely spun this image with dream-like substances. Well done. Perhaps some more background haze would have negated the non-diminishing flatness of the horizon.
