There's always something nice about sitting back and watching a grey day turn blue with rain.

To me, it looks like a heavy rain night. I can feel that it's windy and leaves and branches are shaking b/c of wind. My peaceful place to sit back and watch the rain too :)

This is really cool. Its simple but it looks great. It totally reminds me of classic bryce days where everyone was crazy about mountains and water and the rocks on the shore... Obviously skill has improved greatly since then.. Nice job mate! Looks great.

Man this one is wonderful I love the atmosphere youve set here your rain your shoreline is right on the money also your use of folige and that water. Pleaseeeee more on the creative process used in this one. If I knew how I would give this one a Vote but cant find the button

Steeleyes101: I've been looking at some paintings hanging up in one of the local coffee shops I visit and noticed a grey mist forest scene where the trees were in shadow. A few months ago I started this image, being inspired by the Motorola web site for thier "pebble" phone. After coming home from the coffee shop, I thought to finish the image, adding trees to the foreground. The rain was inspired by childhood memories. The rain itself was easily added: I used a filter in Photopaint. It somehow makes the image the way I had intended it.

I like this one alot. I personaly have created rain in bryce itself. This how ever is much better. I think it is time to ditch the bryce rain and go for the photopaint rain. thanks for sharing.
