The image itself is great, and the concept is also good, but I tried looking at it with the red/blue 3D glasses, and the effect was very weak. I think the main reason is the bright colors you used. With strongly-saturated colors (the purple and the bright green, especially), there is too much difference between what each eye is seeing, and this overwhelms the 3D effect. The most effective red/blue 3D scenes I've seen always use muted colors and low-contrast lighting because of this. But also, there isn't enough difference between the left and right viewpoints. Because you have scaled the 5'4" model down to butterfly size, the viewpoints have to be scaled APART to match, so that it appears we're seeing this butterfly from something like 12" away. Keep working on it!
