I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

Looking out from the old Church of Saint Stephen, in the Parish of Fylingdales. As you can see, I did not clean the windows whilst visiting! Thank you for looking and for treasured comments. Huge hugs, from a very hot Bay. Diane.

Fantastic "looking through" shot. What a beautiful landscape behind the window. Excellent shot!!! :)

Great composition of life and death visuals. Without getting carried away: Is there not a very interesting link created by the bars in the window, between heavens and the cemetery?

Wonderful capture and composition! Beautiful landscape behind the window.

@busi2ness, yes Piet, I felt this very strongly when I took this shot... The shape of this window and the bars leads the eye to the heavens, from the cemetery below....

The side perspective here is just fabulous - the visual impact of the multiple arches. Also, the contrast - the grey against life giving water, headstones shrouded in spring growth. This is one of those shots I'd die to have in my gallery.

Another poignant tableau! Nice view of the cemetery thru the ornate window. It definitely is peaceful. Unless it's been unoccupied for centuries, remind them to clean the glass panes and sweep off the window sill, they're kinda of messy. Di, your subject matter is so Middle Ages! I expect a knight on a white steed to come galloping by at any moment. Harry the Hugger

The quality of this shot is amazing, Di... I kneel before you. The sharpness, from the near wall and window sill to the far landscape, is phenomenal, considering that it's shot from such a dark place. And I agree with all that's already been said and written... Wonder work!

This is a truly artful shot Diane. The window with it's soft light and outside a graveyard, but further still the beauty of the landscape. It captures a feeling that reaches deep inside us all. Well done.
