Great subject choice for this type of shot and you got the DOF spot on. Well done - i have always wanted to take such a shot but never found the right opportunity. for a first "serious" try this is top notch :)

I love selective coloring....so much fun, so much work!!! LOL ;p I think I might have cropped this just a little and did an up in contrast just a bit to bring out the B&W even more!!! Wonderful first attempt!!! Keep it up!!!
